“A quick, one mile section of flowing singletrack between Lawless and Valley West Duluth Traverse.
”
This trail is a fun, flowing, rolling connection between Lawless and Valley West Duluth Traverse. It serves as a great "cut-off" if you want to make a smaller loop in this area or if you don't want to use the doubletrack section of Mission Creek Pkwy to make the larger circuit.
At its west end, Ninja Beaver skirts a large open area with a big beaver pond (namesake?). You'll note that this trail is opposite the beaver pond from the Valley West Duluth Traverse trail. Heading east, the trail is generally a long descent into the valley of Mission Creek with a few longer climbs; one climb is roughly 1/3 of the way and the other roughly 2/3 of the way. Aside from the elevation change, there are no technical or otherwise difficult features. The track is built to flow easily and maintain momentum, which it does a great job of!
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
