Description

This dirt road will get you to Bear Creek and the real singletrack goods of the Forest Hollow Trail. From the BLM Parking lot located on County Rd. 120, you'll encounter brief steep pitches that might find you walking the bike, but not for too long. You'll also find fast and smooth segments that will help you knock out this less than 2-mile pre-requisite in fair time.

You'll encounter some intersections along this road; generally take the road more traveled. Spurs likely lead to private property along the L-shaped part of BLM land you're traveling on.

When you arrive at Bear Creek (not signed) look out for the Forest Hollow Trail turn off on your left. If you continue past this turn, you'll climb steeply and soon enough you'll be off the MTB Project map... although this road does continue into the forest for several miles towards Hubbard Caves.
