From the Elk Hart Forest Service A-frame, take the dirt road onto the right. You'll ride up and past an old shed on the right, and this is where the trail begins. Ride/Hike (very rocky) up to a meadow that looks back on the Titcomb Basin Area. The trail climbs out of this meadow (wet in early season) to a more pronounced singletrack. In a couple hundred yards, you'll come to a post sticking vertically out of the ground (needs signage) turn right here and head cross country through alpine meadow. From here, continue down where the trail appears, then disappears in a marshy area (dry later in season). Cross this marshy area and the trail reappears near the bottom of the marsh on the opposite side. From here, the trail is obvious all the way down.
This is a fall line trail for the most part (not the best for erosion), but has many fun/steep sections, with lots of rocks and natural obstacles. At the bottom, it runs fast and flowy through the aspens and ends behind the White Pine Ski Area Warehouse.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
