Description

From the intersection of Stickpin and Kettle Crest Trail, head south on Trail #13, Kettle Crest Trail (KCT). KCT is the dominant trail following the crest. You'll pass intersections with trails #49, 47, 41, 1 and 75, all leading down the slope. At the intersection with Trail #75, Old Stage Trail, the trail will climb quickly to the top of Copper Butte, the highest point on the trail. After the descent off of the butte you'll pass trails #8, 15 and 17. At the end of this section you'll be at the intersection of Jungle Hill Trail #16 and KCT. At this point you could travel to Hwy 20 via KCT to the south or Down Jungle Hill Trail to Jungle Hill trailhead and Camping.

Throughout this trail you'll be dealing with great dirt, some rock outcrops, and some technical climbs and descents. The Forest will range from Larch filled valleys and hillsides to high forests and sage. Great views reward riders for the whole extent of the trail. A PNW-must for adventure mountain bikers.
