Description

Busted Butte heads west from near the top of Translator Road. After a brief ride through clearcut, a fork in the trail marks the beginning of a possible loop. Heading left at the fork (south) is the better direction for the loop. The ride takes in views of cool erosional buttes and hoodoos, and the trail swoops down on banked curves through this wild landscape.

The singletrack ends at Ramp Road. To close the Busted Butte loop, you'll have to follow Ramp Road to the west (alternatively, you could go east and descend further via Blu Man), then turn north onto Wet Gully Road, and then turn right onto the singletrack that heads back to the fork in Busted Butte.
