Description

A decomposing dog, or maybe a coyote (long since gone!) at the start gave this loop its name. This is a loop that is suitable for beginners because it's relatively level, and can be accessed from the end of East McCarty Hill Rd.

It starts at the end of Big Merlin. This start can be accessed from a small jaunt (~50 feet) from the end of the road. It surfs the contour until the end of the ridge where it curves back on the other side. Just before it ends back at the end of the road, you'll see the start of Sidewinder on your right.
