Description

Mutton Hollow Trail picks up where Buzzard's Breath left off. It used to exit to the adjacent Anderson Blvd, but since the Buzzard's Breath extension was built, that portion has been reclaimed by the forest.

Mutton Hollow trail provides more smiles as it descends through switchbacks and nice flowy bench on a sometimes steep sidehill cut until things finally level out near a spruce grove. After the big rock pile, stay left ignoring the old trail descending further through the spruce. Instead, climb until things level off. After a couple of creek crossings (keep your momentum up!) you'll finally get back into the deciduous trees and you reach the T-junction at the "Connector Trail".
