Description

Start at the turn around point of the Roman Nose Two Lakes Trail At the sign that says "Switchback Trail." From the sign you can go straight and hit the switchbacks trail, or go down to the left through the trees and pick up the switchback trail.

Once on top of either canyon rim soak in the beauty of the grassland prairie.

These trails are not designed as beginners trails, there are a number of technical sections (climbs, drops, rocks and roots) that will test your skills. Ride it several times and your skills will improve! Be aware of Rattlesnakes and there are lots of cacti along the trail. Be courteous to hikers and equestrians.
