It has technical sections with tree roots, slippery short climbs/drops, and easy sections along the beach line. There are some sandy sections, but not many. You'll also pass through some low traffic roads to connect with other trail sections.

Helmet use is mandatory, bring snacks and water. It is not recommended to do this ride alone. Bring a few buddies as it is in an isolated area. Bring your cellphone in case you need to get help.

Singletrack, lots of tree roots, some climbs, some drops, technical track. This the bottom entrance to this trail. You can park your car in front of the Skate&Splash Park (Los Chorritos) at Base Ramey, Aguadilla then ride through the road in the middle of the golf course, go down the road to the beach, you'll find the entrance a few meters to the left. You'll start out on Hoyo 8 Bottom Trail, which is singletrack featuring many tree roots, some climbs, drops and technical features. Follow this around to Almendros, an easy doubletrack cruise over towards the beach. Ride along the beach for a bit, and at the end of the doubletrack, ride back on the roads.

Lower Road: This is a paved road that connects two MTB trails (Punta Borinquen). It has local car traffic and some dogs (usually friendly, spray them some water if not, and move on).

Upper Road: This is a paved road that connects two MTB segments. Manglito / El Natural and Hoyo 8 trail back to the Golf course. It has local car traffic and some dogs (usually friendly, spray them some water if not, and move on). Starts with a steep climb.

You finish on Hoyo 8 Upper Trail, which is technical like the Bottom Trail, with a steep climb up.
