Description

Flowing singletrack through a shady forested valley - a relief from the sun on hot days compared to more exposed trails like Harper's Trail. With an average 9% grade that gets steeper toward the top, peaking at over 15%, it's a fun descent or a fairly challenging climb.

Descending from the north end, the first section drops rapidly through some loose and rooty sections before soon reaching the valley floor and starting a long swooping section that crosses the small creek a few times. After the junction with Citizens Trail, there are several creek crossings. Some are missing bridges but are easily forded, and others have narrow log bridges. One in particular jumps out at you with a sudden steep and loose drop-in to the left.
