Description

Park at the end of Prarie creek road or drive up 2 miles to the Forest Service parking area. Ride all the way out Prairie Creek Road and pick up the singletrack at the end of the road. The singletrack will cross the river then climb for a bit until you reach a Y intersection. Take the right route for the most enjoyable climb. The trail will continue to climb until you reach Prairie and Miner lakes. This is a great spot to stop and enjoy the views!

From here head on to Miner Lakes Trail. The trail traverses a bit with a little more climbing then the descent begins. Steep, loose, and wide open explains the descent on this trail. If you like technical, fast descents, you'll love this one! Finish out the lollipop loop and rip back to the river crossing. Cross the river and make your way back down the road to your vehicle.

Technical ride, definitely not for a 1st time rider. Lots of rocks and a climb, but once you get there is totally worth it. — 2h 42m
