Description

This trail is mostly technical doubletrack. The middle section has a tough sustained climb that is rideable if you have the legs. Nice views from the top.

Middle Mountain trail is an eroded jeep road that climbs from Tower Road to the summit of Middle Mountain and then on to open slabs with nice views of the park. This trail is all about climbing.

The lower sections are rocky with eroded ruts and medium size rocks but the trail rides reasonably well on the edges. The middle trail section climbs up two steep switchbacks then up steep ~100 yard rocky patch. This is the crux of the climb. Above is easy grassy doubletrack, then the summit views!

Return the way you came with a nice descent back to Tower Road.
