Description

This short little trail begins at the split of 4 mining roads but it's simple to find as it's a singletrack path off to the left if your coming up from town. The singletrack gently climbs along the hill contour and then widens to a fire road after crossing a tributary to flint creek. From there, the steeper climb to the saddle begins.

At the top of climb, enjoy the views of the historic mining backcountry of Idaho before taking the plunge down to the Decker Creek Trail (Trail 081). From there it's a short and steep downhill (all more than a - 10% grade!). If you're looking to turn down Decker right away, keep your eyes peeled for the turn at the bottom as it is easy to fly by. If you reach a bridge over a small creek you've gone just barely too far - or continue on up Decker as an out and back before riding down to the mining roads along the Yuba River.
