Superfreak is typically used as an uphill to get quickly to the top of the ridge and Above the Law for a ride down Scorpion or Anarchy. It is also the easiest downhill from Above the Law if you don't want to retrace your route back to the north. Moderate grade. Most of this trail is on sandstone.

The bottom of Superfreak connects to the Outlaw Trail just after the second big side valley crossing. The trail entrance is easy to miss as it is on solid rock. The top of Superfreak connects to Above the Law. This trail junction is obvious as it occurs in a grassy area and there is a small rock cairn.
