The high altitude nature of this system means there can be snow cover from December through March.

This trail is hard-packed singletrack for 90% of the way. There's one long climb in the clockwise direction or a hike-a-bike in the counter-clockwise direction.

A shorter ride can be had using the 1st shortcut trail, 1 3/4 mile in either direction to make a 4 mi loop.

The 2ed shortcut trail comes a little over 3mi into the loop from both directions, making a 7mi middle distance. Missing only the Ecks Mtn climb & Downhill.


All loops are moderate difficulty with a few rock gardens of the short tame variety.
