A quick ~1.4 miles of singletrack that cuts out some of the doubletrack/dirt road miles when riding to the top of Strand hill.

The trail begins approximately 1 mile up the canal trail on the right. You'll gently climb uphill through meadows and aspen forest before meeting back up with the doubletrack on the way up to strand hill. Left will take you uphill on Strand, a right will take you back down to meet up with the farris creek road.

This trail can also be ridden downhill in the opposite direction if you have tired legs and don't want to finish the full Strand uphill. This is usually the first trail in the Strand area to melt in the spring.
