Highlighting J-Bar and Moose Alley, this loop is a fine introduction to this side of the trails.
Need To Know
A day pass to the private trails costs $15/per person. There are shuttles to various locations on the weekends.
This loop starts and ends at the Burke Mountain Campground. However, it could be started at Middle Burke parking area as well.

Pedal up the switchbacks and wooded climb of Camp-town and take a right on the doubletrack traverse of CCC Road where you'll cross some of the Burke slopes. Take a right on J-bar where you'll enjoy an awesome and flowing downhill all the way down to Burke Lodge. The downhill is full of roots, jumps, bumps and a bridge or two.

From the lodge, head back out to the road and take a right. From there hang a left on Dashney Road where you'll follow the gravel to Trillium. Here it gets slightly confusing as the Nordic trails are also on this section but not marked on the trail map. You'll follow Trillium to Magill Fields and cross the road. Then get on Moose Alley. Moose Alley is a long and super-fun downhill that goes through beautiful and serene forest with a nice flow.

Once you spill out onto Smith Hill Road, you'll follow that across the main road where you'll cross a bridge, then take a left on White School. This trail will climb up to the top of Sky Dive which is another great signature downhill. Sky Dive will take you back to White School where you'll take a quick right, then left on Nose DIve. Then right on White School to follow the river back to East Darling Hill Road.

A quick right up to Sugarhouse Run on the left where you'll take a left on Kitchel and enjoy the machined berms as you flow back to town. Then, last but not least, a rough road climb back up to the campground.
