Though probably more fun the opposite way, it is outlined here in a south to north direction, corresponding to a clockwise Woods Mountain Loop
Beautiful woodland, nice stream crossings, and a couple (short) downhills await, but so do a handful of seriously steep uphill grades in places. They are short, but expect to walk them.
Starting at the south end from FSR 1073
, Harris Creek will climb approximately 500 feet in elevation by the time it meets up with FSR 469
. Turning left on this road gets you nowhere; turning right takes you to FSR 469
or Huskins Branch Road.
