Looking a the opening of Bear Bottom Loop Trail after crossing the street, exiting Culler's/River Trail. This trail is shared by equestrians so watch out for horse droppings. This picture does not do the long, insidious, climb justice. The apex of your climb is roughly .7 miles from this point.

(Looking south) After screaming out of the parking lot down the CCT toward the Laurel Hill complex, you'll pass under Barrel Bridge -- the gateway to LH. If you look around the area while riding, you'll get occasional glimpses of structures from yesteryear.

You'll see this view shortly after cresting the first hill on the Power Station Loop. There's a similar photo submitted by another user which, together, illustrate the fluid architecture of this trail system.

Trailhead for Slaughterhouse Loop. A creepy setting for this challenging trail.

Laurel Hill taken in March 2016. Verdant, flowing hills with the smell of wild green onions hanging in the air. This was a fun, quick (and therefore fleeting) part of the trail.

This was taken in October '15. Orientation is toward Opossum Branch (northernmost part of the trail) and tends to get a little muddy after periods of precipitation. Otherwise a generally hard-packed and fast trail.
