This trail has some great potential and some great spots, but some poorly designed sections can harsh the flow.

The trail starts from the Upper North Red Trail at intersection 26. It starts on a really cool knife edge ridge heading away from the main ravine edge and towards Hunters Creek. This knife edge ends in drop into a saddle on this ridge. Don't go straight (which just dead ends on the ridge) but rather, the trail goes right at this intersection 25 (going left brings you down to the creek - a dead end).

The trail immediately makes a very sharp downhill switchback before settling into some nice flow. Soon, however, a sidehill section in need of a bench cut makes the rider think twice before continuing, and after that a steep fall line uphill is only doable some of the time.

Another nice section is soon interrupted by a creek crossing that is doable with a good head of steam to make it up the other side (but would probably hurt if you don't make it).

The trail merges briefly with an unmarked fall line trail dropping from the ravine top before it leaves this to the right. After a short up, it begins a steep fall line drop to a terrace just above the water level of the creek. At the end of this terrace (where it meets a tributary, there is a dead end trail to the left down to the creek (intersection 24). The red trail heads right, however, up the hill.

The former fall line climb was replaced by WNYMBA with a longer bench cut climb that adds a fun switchback and extra distance as it continues back up to the old road trail, ending at the site of the former Kellogg Cabin at intersection 23.
