This doubletrack is the old road from the town of Nago down to Sarca Valley (Arco).

In Nago, leave the roundabout at a small road to the south, turn immediately to the right (signs MTB #763, #761, #731). Between the streets, there is the start of a small road (closed for cars), first paved with concrete.
You'll have to cross the street SS240 (a lot of traffic) and reach a nice viewpoint "Marmitta Dei Giganti".

In the limestone below the concrete paved road there are big wash-outs (and a lot of tourists). Leaving this small touristic area, the trail gets unpaved, but wide and well maintained (a steeper U-bend near the end is also paved by concrete). So you whiz down to the orchards in Sarca Valley.

This trail ends at small paved roads, leading to Arco (MTB #763, #761)or Bolognano (MTB #731).
