Need to Know

Fort Ord National Monument trails are closed from half an hour after sunset to half an hour before sunrise.

Description

This is a new trail on the Fort Ord National Monument that connects Eucalyptus Road to Parker Flats Road. For riders coming from Seaside on their bikes, this is a great new way to get into the trails of the Fort Ord National Monument.

At the top, it flows through Oak Woodlands and then crosses into brush with great views. At the bottom, it is only a short distance on the road (maybe 100 yards) to the west end of the new alignment of Trail 70. This is a great add and creates more fun options for connecting the county trails system to the Fort Ord National Monument trails.
