This is a rocky jeep trail that starts with a mild climb for the first mile, then generally descends roughly parallel to the rim of Dry Creek Canyon for another four miles until it intersects a power line and drops into the canyon. Any left turn off the trail after the first mile should lead to an overlook, and any right turn should connect to another jeep road along the easily visible power line to the east.

It's mostly easy, but also rocky enough to entertain most riders. There are a few spots that definitely should be walked by beginners! Most notably, the last steep descent into Dry Creek Canyon is very rough and will challenge some intermediate riders.

This trail can be ridden as a roughly eleven-mile loop via Dry Creek Road and Rim Road, or as a shuttled ride by leaving a vehicle on Transfer Road at the power line. The steep ride/push up the canyon wall to Transfer Road is 0.2 miles and 200 feet of elevation gain. However, if one wishes to eliminate that last climb and is willing to drive a jeep-like vehicle down the steep, rough, narrow, and rather frightening 4WD road to park on the canyon floor, this will definitely add some thrill factor to a shuttle ride!
