Description

The southern fork of the Clark Lake loop is not to be missed. The more mellow of the two descents, Clark Lake Loop rolls fast and furiously through aspens groves on the Southern end of the lake. Hard pedaling is easily rewarded with a fast flow and fun corners as you rush past trees. Its nickname "Jedi Aspen Forest" is very accurate for this section of trail. Keep your eyes peeled for downed trees and cow poop, and stay off the brakes!

A great connector for bigger loops in the mountains and the easier alternative to the final Clark Lake descent. Fall foliage and a little moisture make this one of the best, albeit shorter descents in the mountains.
