Description

The Dixon Trail begins at the apex of North Talon at about 0.9 miles. From there, it winds up moderate but rideable grades for about 2.5 miles. There are few technical features, and the sharp switchbacks are the only somewhat challenging aspect of this trail. At the top, there are great views over Fountain and Fort Carson.

The descent is slightly off-camber, the straight aways fast, but the switchbacks are too narrow to carry speed all the way down.
