Family Friendly The Highland Trail is smooth, not steep, and has great views. Younger riders may not be able to ride the C-Trail to get to it, but could pedal in and then out on Highland.

Closed following heavy rains and snow melts.

Description

About two miles below the "C" (C-Trail), the Highlands Trail heads SW to the Greens Lake Trailhead. This 1.6-mile flow trail has several jumps with half a dozen optional features. More features are planned for this trail in the near future. Highlands Trail can be ridden in either direction, but it's more enjoyable as a descent from the north.

If you start your downhill ride from the C Overlook, you can ride 7.5 miles via upper C-Trail, Highlands Trail, Lichen It or Lava Flow to the South View TH.
