Description

From EUB Camp Haul Road, start climbing up Abby. There are a couple short steep grunts before it lessens off on the ridge. On the ridge, you'll come to an open clearing, with many different ways to go. Go left, down the trail for a second and back up again. The ridge is pretty flat with many smaller rocks, so you know you're close to the descent when the rocks get bigger and the lines more technical.

On the descent, there are plenty of large rocks to smash and jump around on, making for a fairly fast downhill if you can hold your line. Down a ways, you'll get to a section with a closer corridor and tighter trimmed bushes. There will also be an intersection here. Turn right and continue down the hill.

The final test of your rock-hopping skills comes at the very end. It is actually an uphill, so whack your gears low and give it a shot. Once you see the Lake, you've made it! From there, take a breather, jump in on Long Pine Trail, or continue on the road.
