Description

Running along the top of the ridge, this trail climbs from a saddle at the end of the Ramona Peak Climb to the top of Ramona Peak. The climb is steady, with some loose, larger stones that can be slippery, but nothing too challenging.

The views overlooking both the San Diego Country Estates to the east and Ramona to the west only get better as you climb. At the summit, there is a bench looking out to the east - a great place for a stop and a photo.

The trail then descends briefly to a water tower. A paved road continues past the water tower, but is marked private property. Better to circle back on one of the other trails within Simon Preserve.
