Description

From the parking area, this two-way trail begins on the other side of a small gate (remember to secure it behind you) and travels up the base of a nearby bluff. It soon winds through a scenic jumble of large boulders.

There's a little rolling terrain as Inside Passage follows the contours of the slope, but a few spots of well-laid rock work make for easy going. Riders may catch a refreshing breeze at the top of the next rise before the trail curves down to pass between two huge boulders on the way to join the Klondike Bluff 4x4.

In the spring, a few varieties of wildflower bloom along the trail and add small drops of color to the surrounding rocks, dirt, and sagebrush.
