Located a few miles up the Snake River from Lewiston, this short trail is part of Hells Gate State Park trail system. It is mostly singletrack up a mellow ridge through tall grasses and wildflowers.

It starts out on the north end with two moderately steep switchbacks before leveling out for the remainder of the ridge where it meets up with Easy Street Trail at Saddleback Point, offering great views of the Snake River which borders the park and the small town of Asotin across the way. It can be ridden in either direction or combined with several other trails to make different loops.

If accessed from Hells Gate State Park, this is a fee area and requires the purchase of a day pass or an Idaho State Parks pass. It can also be accessed from a free parking lot on Tammany Creek Rd just east of Saddleback Point. This is a well-maintained parking lot with signage. There are restrooms located in the park camping/picnic areas or at this parking lot.

This area is frequented by hikers and equestrian riders so please ride responsibly. Spring and early summer are ideal. The grasses are lush and green and the wildflowers are in full bloom. Lewiston gets hot in the summer so hit the trail early as there is no shade outside of the campgrounds. Summer is also the season for goat heads which can ruin your tubes and your day quickly. The park is home to rattlesnakes and bull snakes especially in areas near the water.
