Description

This trail starts on the Blue Ridge Parkway across from a large field area known as Floyd Field and the Overstreet Creek Rd.

The trail starts as a fire road climb and turns to a downhill that will come out at a gravel cul-de-sac. Continue straight across the gravel and take the trail to the left that goes down a short but rocky chute. There will be a small creek crossing at the bottom before another fire road climb.

The trail continues with some ups and downs before finally coming to a point where a singletrack trail bares left off of the fire road. This is the start of the main downhill section.

This part becomes a sweet singletrack descent with some rocky sections, steep drop-offs on the left and a couple of switchbacks later on. The trail then dumps out onto a grassy fire road - stay left here. Enjoy the bomb down the grassy road with a few humps that you can launch off. Cross the bridge at the bottom onto Jennings Creek Rd.
