Family Friendly Older kids with some experience mountain biking can enjoy this especially if you have someone shuttle you so you only have to do the downhill part. Not too dangerous or technical. Close to the city.

Description

This is a nice downhill trail if you have someone pick you up and shuttle you back to your car (or you can ride back up, too). It has some sun exposure so may not be ideal in the full heat of a summer afternoon but it is quite nice around sunset when the weather is nice or in the morning. Intermediate riders will enjoy the route. It is a little tricky for newbies but fun overall!

This route will be dry when higher elevation mountain rides are still muddy but it's still best to wait until several days after a rain or snow storm for it to dry before going. There are some winding, sharp turn switchbacks which can be fun. It's not overly technical or bumpy but still challenging enough to make it fun with nice views.
