Description

This is a short, easy trail on red clay through the forest above the Tallulah Gorge. It is the only legally accessible singletrack in Tallulah Gorge State Park.

Unfortunately, you won't have much of a view of either Tallulah Gorge or Tallulah Falls. It's well worth hiking the Rim Trail to see the gorge (no bikes allowed though). If you're one of the first 100 visitors of the day, you can go down into the gorge itself, and this is a special treat.

The trail is accessed from the Stone Place Trail, which goes all the way down to Tallulah Lake near the mouth of the gorge.
