Description

From South Lake Road, Habeggers climbs steeply up. After climbing ~ 1200 feet of elevation, you'll want to make a left-hand turn on a less traveled road bed to continue up and over Coyote Ridge.

Down the other side will drop you to the West Fork of Coyote Creek, which you'll descend along for a couple miles to Coyote Flat. To get to the top of Coyote Flat Trail, turn right, cross the West Fork of Coyote Creek, and look for the doubletrack descending northeast to your left.
