Description

This is the only trail in Newton where you can escape pavement. Most of the trail surface is wood chips, except for the part along Main St which is a dirt path. It's also a favorite for runners and walkers, so use caution.

Overall, this is a fun, wooded trail where you can get away from traffic for a while. The trail follows the Sand Creek which eventually goes through downtown Newton. This is basically a flat trail with no challenging features, but it gives new riders a place to get out among the trees and build a love for the sport.

Like it’s stated. Wood chipped nature trail. It’s a family oriented trail with zero difficulty. Not a Mountain Bike Trail 1.6mi
