Description

The School Pond Trail is a loop that begins at the second parking lot in the park. It is accessed at the same point as the Aspen Trail (Trail 21) and Ranger Ridge Trail (Trail 3), and provides access to the Stoner Mill Trail (Trail 23).

The trail descends .5 miles to the pond. At mile .3, access to the Stoner Mill Trail (Trail 23) is towards the south. The pond is small and varies in size depending on the season.

The trail then turns back north and westward, along the same track as the Aspen Trail (Trail 21) leading back up to the trailhead.
