Crane Creek starts at an upper switchback along the Beardance Trail #76. It veers right and climbs up through a larch/pine forest with thick understory.
As the climb levels out, the trail picks up an old roadbed and turns back to the east. It then follows the north side of Crane Creek to FS Road #10218, near an intersection with Crane Mtn Rd.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
Very steep. Technical terrain with no alternate lines.
