Description

From Gateway Drive, this trail steadily climbs until it intersects with CT - Segment 7: Gold Hill Trail. On the way, it accesses Faith Trail # 951B after roughly 0.8 miles on a switchback. The trail continues to climb and you'll see CT - Segment 7: Gold Hill Trail on your left as it parallels this trail at mile 1.

Continue climbing and you'll reach the Robert Foote Trail #9047, which appears on a switchback at 1.75 miles. Climb for another mile and follow the right hand switchback (going left will re-connect with CT - Segment 7: Gold Hill Trail). At this point, the trail becomes less pronounced.

Climbing for another mile, you'll see Ho Chi Minh Trail (Gifford Pinchot Trail #9155) crossing the road. Finally, the road crosses the CT - Segment 7: Gold Hill Trail and from here you can descend the Gold Hill Trail (fun!), head right toward Peaks Trail, or head down to link up with the Peaks Trail further south.

Nice climbing option to connect to Peaks trail for fun singletrack downhill into Frisco. Use the bike path back to the car for a great loop.
