Description

From Schultz Saddle, this section of the CDT follows a steady rolling climb through meadows and forest for approximately four miles before encountering the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness. From there, the trail is then closed to bikes all the way to Johnson Lake and beyond to Seymour Lake where the trails leaves the Wilderness.

The easiest way to reach the next section of the CDT open to bikes is by using the FS road at Shultz Saddle to get to the Big Hole Valley.
