Description

The east end of this trail splits off of Trail 317 - Ridge Top Trail near the trailhead/315 junction. It descends through open pinion-juniper vegetation with some nice views of Granite Mountain. As the trail nears is western end and junction with Trail 316 - Pine Lakes Trail, it drops into a pine-forested creek drainage. There is a little exposure to the steep side of the hill as you near the bottom. This is a fun and twisty trail. Not a bad climb, from 316 up to 317 either, as the grades are all fairly moderate.

There is a lot of foot traffic in this general area and dog walkers. Check your speed and please be courteous to other trail users!
