Description

The trailhead for Uplands and Hummocks trails is found just across the S Fork on Gray Drake Road, about 1/2 mile from Town Center.

These two short loops combine for a nice cruise or after work training session. Both trails meander through open meadows and trees with views to the Spanish Peaks and Lone mountain. They are commonly used by walkers and runners as well, so watch your speed in the corners and yield the trail to foot traffic.

The Uplands trail is quite smooth for the most part and climbs steadily through grassy meadows to the upper loop section forming a lollipop. The recommended direction of travel for the upper loop is clockwise. After a mile of climbing, it's all downhill back to the trailhead, fast, smooth and flowy.
