The gate into Oaks is closed during inclement weather for up to 48 hours after a rain event, due to adverse trail conditions within the County regional park.

Description

This trail runs parallel to Santiago Creek and behind the Mabury Ranch neighborhood. Portions of the trail are doubletrack, while others are equestrian-style DG surface alongside Mabury Ave.

Enter at the gap in the chain link fence just north of the Cannon St. bridge over Santiago Creek and head (mostly) eastward 1-1/4 miles to the gate. Lots of foot traffic, dog walkers, fellow bikers etc.
