Description

To access this trail, cross the dam at Lake Pendleton and then take the wooden bridge. Pass by the trail immediately after the bridge and then take the very next trail on the right (orange marker).

You'll now be crossing a small meadow. Stay to the left going onto a rock-reinforced section and avoiding the short trail heading straight up the hill. After the armored section, you'll climb across some roots up into an evergreen forest. Continue on the well-marked trail out into the sparse forest of the re-claimed mine and then, after a slight downhill, to where the trail joins Dobbin House trail.
