A seasonal closure around the Grazing Elk Trail allows elk and mule deer critical access to the range. Please help wildlife by respecting these closures.

Description

This is an easy trail for beginners that connects the Deer Creek Canyon trail system to other South Valley trails.

Views of the Dakota and Lyons hogbacks as well as red sandstone formations make the ride enjoyable.

A clockwise loop of Grazing Elk Trail

I rode the Coyote Song Trail, with awesome red rock formations, and some sweet flowing downhill. The trail was closed for the final portion, so I rode the rest of the way on prairie falcon.

Steep but easy uphill start. Singletrack 3 mile loop with some gravel. Pretty ride & nice for a quick loop. Enough uphill for me to get a nice sweat.
