Description

What started out as a trail that would keep cyclists off the road when heading over to Little Rock City, turned into a very technical short section of trail.

Numerous seeps along the bowl meant that this trail had to climb to stay above wet areas. So from its start on the CCC Forest Road, it starts climbing right away. When you get to a big rock that has options to over or around (go ahead - go over it!) you are almost at the top, but this rock is just a taste of what is to come. Soon you'll be picking lines through rock gardens. And even though the trail starts to descend, gravity doesn't make it much easier. However, there are good lines through each tough section and this trail is frequently ridden without dabs.

The end part gets much easier with some switchbacks through a red pine grove before ending at Hungry Hollow Rd.
