Description

The Fair Oaks Trail starts in the Fair Oaks Ranch neighborhood. There is not a real parking lot anywhere - just neighborhood streets. However, there is a cul-de-sac at the end of Blue Aspen Lane that has some space to park. Once you head through the gate at the end of the street the first hundred yards or so are smooth dirt path before turning into a poorly maintained dirt road as you head down a hill.

Just follow this road. You'll climb up and over a fairly steep hill and then descend the other side which is more difficult and torn up. At the base of the hill start looking off to the right. There is a small, overgrown, section of trail that will lead you to the start of the singletrack. Once on the singletrack just follow it.

After you reach the top of the switchbacks, keep following the trail and veer to the right to stay on the singletrack. Continue following it until you are dumped out behind some houses. Make your way around to the road that runs on the south side of Cherry Willow Drive. Take this up towards the water towers. On your right is a dirt road - turn onto that and then to the left back onto singletrack. Follow this up until it dead ends then enjoy the ride back down.

I wouldn't say this is a ride worth driving to but if you're in the area already its a fun quick ride.
