Description

Rocky's Run is a blast. It starts at the foot of the St. Patrick's trail, crossing over the old log road. It starts with a winding descent with some nice views down the valley to the left through the trees. Just as you think it is going to dump you back out onto the grassy lane that is Anderson Blvd (well, it used to) it swings back into the woods and takes you on a very circuitous route up to the top of the ridge.

Winding down the far side of this local high point, the trail crosses Anderson and continues on singletrack on the other side. Circling around a hill top, it levels off, even drops some before it starts its climb. Two switchbacks at the end gain you enough elevation that you will be prepared to enjoy the descent on the nearby Buzzards Breath.
