Rib Tickler is one of three loop trails that leave from the end of the Access Road, the other two being No Dab and Humpty Dumpty. Rib Tickler is the middle loop, and has small connectors to each of the adjacent loops part way, just to make the navigation a little tougher.

This description is for doing the loop counter-clockwise, although the trail rides equally well in either direction.

From the end of the access road, take the second trail from the right (the rightmost is no dab). The trail is nice snaky singletrack as it follows out a ridge towards the forest's main creek. Don't take the connector on the right to No Dab, nor the next connector (to the left) that shortcuts the loop.

Since you are going towards the creek, you gradually lose elevation until the trail makes a 180 and heads back uphill, almost touching the trail you just rode at one spot. Continue past the cut-off you skipped earlier, and then try not to get confused when you get to the link over to Humpty Dumpty (it is tricky).

By staying on Rib Tickler, you now get to one of Harris Hill's signature sections. The next half mile squeezes as many feet of trail in a small area as is possible by doing a quick section of 8 hairpin turns and double backing on itself. This includes some pretty skill-building narrow brdiges over small creeks, and lots of quick ups and down. Overall, this section provides some great flow.

After the zig zags finally straighten out, the singletrack continues back to the start of the loop at the end of the access road.
