This trail is a fun lollipop loop off of
No Dab trail, providing access to Lung buster Trail.
It starts from a 180 bend in
No Dab and heads north along a short section that is the stem of the lollipop. The stem is short, however, and the loop is big.
This description is for taking the loop in a counterclockwise direction. That means take a right at the T-junction when you get there. For the next half mile or so, try not to get dizzy as Thom the designer takes you on more back and forth direction changes than you can shake a stick at. Your sense of direction will soon be lost.
You'll know you are still on the right trail when you pass through the "Pillars of Hercules" - two very large trees with the trail going in between.
After some more twists and turns, the trail starts its descent to the creek. As you descend, you'll see the start of lung buster on your right, and may want to take that. But that is another description.
Once you get down to near the creek, you see
Lung Buster rejoin Myrtles, and you continue on down the creek.
This section of trail is particularly scenic. After all the ups and downs of the rest of this trail, this section is a pleasant ramble along the flat bottom of the valley with open vegetation providing a scenic vista.
All good things must end sometime, and soon you are climbing back up the creek valley to meet up with the lollipop stem.
