Description

If the South Loop is old school, the Van Michael loop is new school. The trail, located on the west side of the system, brings plenty of ups and downs with a lot of mountain bike optimized flow.

Although mostly smooth, the trail is one of the most advanced at Blankets Creek due to the amplitude possible on this tight, twisting singletrack. Van Michael is a good dose of fun for those who don't mind feeling the burn in their legs.

Highlights include:

Kevorkian Pass - a steep, armored section of trail that has an incredible view of the lake.

The Gravity Cavity - a fast rolling section of singletrack that whips you around bermed turns and shoots you up and around the wooded hillsides in roller-coaster fashion.
